windows 7 wont install basic drivers

So i re installed windows 7 by just putting the disk in and clicking install. i did this on the desktop by the way. now it wont Evan install drivers ON the device. i can tell you the needed info if you ask for it.

you tried to install windows from inside windows? that only works with upgrades. if you try to upgrade windows to the same version you can get conflicts
a fresh install from a cold boot is likely your only fix.
just to be sure open c: and see if theres a folder called windows old or some such, basically something that shouldnt be there.

windows should auto install the majority of drivers that it needs.
what drivers are you trying to install.
do you have an active net connection.
is your install completely clean (no active av or antimalware installed before you try installing the drivers).
is the windows disk legit?

i dont have any anti virus or ant malware (im very carefull with what i download) the windows disk is legit i have the case right here. windows is not installing any drivers for some weird reason

sorry also im trying to install a midi controller keyboard (m-audio keystaion 32) and it does have the drivers on it. i plugged it into another pc and it worked. the device does have power i just cant use it.
