Samsung SSD update

I have tried several times to update the software with my Samsung ssd 840 Pro, but it will not update and just says "failed to update" every time. I have disabled the rapid mode like it says to do, but still wont update. Does anyone know why.

Try going to your Sata controller in device manager and if its using the AMD driver, switch it to the standard Microsoft driver. I had a friend do that on his AMD, and the FW update worked immediately after doing that.

I mean Samsung Magician, it keeps saying update failed. I have been reading and believe it is because it's a AMD system. I Think I got it figured out how to solve the problem.
