I'm hoping to add a storage array to my setup, 6 drives- most likely caviar greens but I haven't looked into drives yet (I'm open to suggestions for low power-consumption storage drives, consumer or otherwise) & I'm wondering whether or not my power supply will be able to handle everything. I'm inclined to think yes. The load will be: 1 mitx motherboard, i7-4770K (not overclocked), 16 gbs of performance ram, 1ssd, 2 fans and the 6 drives on a 620w Antec psu.

There is no graphics card and I don't use this system for gaming. There is a pcie firewire card connected to the power supply, but the device it's connected to is powered.

That power supply would be plenty, with room to spare. You could even go for a decent 450-550w if you wanted since you don't intend to overclock, or even have a video card in the system. Go for a Seasonic/XFX/Antec/Corsair(non cx)/EVGA/Enermax/Silverstone. They are usually the top brands, but the last two are kind of expensive from what i've seen. They are all reliable brands though if you don't buy their budget units.
