No video output/Shutts of after a while

Hey there,

I just put together my first system, everything went ok, when i boot it, it doesn't put out any video and after a while the system's shuts off, the cpu fan spins, the gpu's fans spin (does this min its ok?), and the case fans spin also the led on the mobo turns on. What should i do??

We have a troubleshooting checklist for this type of problem. If you perform every step in the checklist it should help you narrow down what's causing the problem. There's a link to the checklist in my signature. It would also help to post your complete system specs including model numbers.
