Hey guys! So, as I follow the foot steps of my father, i am building a gaming computer. My dad was an avid gamer back in the day, I asked if he could somewhat coach me through the process of what would go good together, good brands and so on. He was into the tech world about 7-8 years ago but now he's out of the loop. But what he did tell me was to visit tom's hardware to seek the help that I needed, so without a further ado, here is what I have thought of getting so far:

Western Digital WD Green WD30EZRX 3TB internal hard drive

G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB(2 x 4GB) 240-pin DDR3 memory

SAPPHIRE 100364L Radeon R9 270X 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 CrossFireX

Intel Core i5-4430 Haswell Quad-Core 3.0GHz processor

Those are what I am looking at getting. Here is what I currently have already:

Thermaltake Xaser 111

Water cooling system: ZALMAN Reserator 1

Heres where I need some help. I am having a very difficult time trying to find a motherboard. I have been having my eye on this one here:

but im just not sure. If anyone could help me out, and possibly recommend a better item from the parts list I have at the top, for near the same price that would be much appreciated!

Solution
all of those should work fine together.

I'd suggest adding a 128-256 GB SSD to the build if you can afford it. the 3TB drive is huge, but slow.
