Clean installed windows 8.1

Hi i just clean installed windows 8.1 and when it finished all my drivers were already installed, is that normal? I deleted the partitions and all.
Could I have done something wrong?

I have an asus cg8270

I had windows 8.1 and wanted to clean install. I thought when you delete partitions your drivers are deleted too.

Okay thanks, I wanted to clean install and reinstall all the drivers because I had freezing problems but when I clean installed all the drivers were still there.
