I've been looking around the internet for the past month to set up a list of optimal components for my new editing pc. But now that I'm ready to purchase I got cold feet. I asume that one final check of it with you guys will be the wisest move.

Here are my components: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/7tWkWZ

Approximate Purchase Date: This week.

Budget Range: 2700$

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Adobe CC (Premiere, After Effects, etc) Full HD and 4K r3d files.

Are you buying a monitor: No

Parts to Upgrade: Everything!

Do you need to buy OS: No

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: I'm in Spain, so, don't worry about prices or shops.

Location: Same goes here. I have a shop near by.

Parts Preferences: Intel, Nvidia (CUDA)

Overclocking: Yes, thinking about OC the CPU.

SLI or Crossfire: Maybe in the future, to been able to output 10bit on a Quadro card or something.

Your Monitor Resolution: 2x 1680x1050, in the future I'll go for a ASUS PA279Q 27-Inch Screen LCD Monitor

Additional Comments: I'm worried about mosty two things: will the 780ti 3GB be sufficient in the future with the optional monitor or will I care for the 780 6GB? And is a 760w power supply enough for a posible 2 card mount in the future or even OC the CPU?

Hope my english is correct and I explained myself ok. Thanks for all the help!

The 780 ti is more geared towards gaming, but it should suffice if you are doing minor editing and modelling. If you are looking at doing just intensive modelling, animation etc then you should consider a quadro, which is quite more expensive. So the question is, will you be doing a little gaming on the side or is it just a workstation pc

Thanks shnuhh! So, more PSU and a better CPU cooler.

Regarding the 780ti 3GB, is the correct choice?
