i dont see how this is possible. I've tried using this diagram just below page 14 in this link http://www.fsec.ucf.edu/en/education/k-12/curricula/use/documents/use_18_series_parallelcircuits.pdf
except only using 3 sets of 3 cells. i used a multimeter to test the amps, but it doesn't give anything.
