So I plan on getting this card:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00FOQZZ9G/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE
and I will get this psu:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/XFX-Edition-Bronze-Semi-Modular-Supply/dp/B008O50WKG/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top
and the nzxt phantom 410 case
however someone has said that it is 30.3 cm long and requires 2 8 pin connectors, i'm concerned the card is too long for the case and that the psu doesn't have the right connectors to support it!? Can anyone help me out here and put my mind at ease. If the card doesnt fit or the psu only has a 6 & 8 pin, please recommend another r9 280x card!

Thanks, may go back up to my original plan of a r9 290 if my parents allow me to spend the extra money!

Alright... but if you're spending your own money you should tell your parents it is your money after all.

yeah, maybe it got edited because i kinda swore in it xD But all i said was they want to make sure i dont want to waste my money on the wrong pc, but making me get a prebuilt pc will be making me waste my money. They are okay with me getting a pc, but not building it, which is really ignorant and narrow-minded on their behalf.
