I bought a new motherboard and cpu today and it's working fine, but i have a problem with it. When i try accesing bios it doesnt show standard bios layout but some gibberish symbols. http://oi59.tinypic.com/2n92yx.jpg
What could be the cause of this? Windows and everything else is working fine so i dont think its gpu related
MOBO: Gigabyte ga-78lmt-usb3
GPU: powercolor r9 270x
CPU: fx- 6300
8 gb ram
LC power 600w psu

But why does it happen only on startup, not after windows launches?
It is possible thou because mu monitor has only vga slot so i had to use adapter on the end that goes in the gpu. Can i fix it somehow ?

if you have any buttom in your monitor that says "AUTO" press and hold for a second and see what happend!!!!
Someone told you that could be out of frequency but when a LED or LCD monitor have that problem it `ll tell you a message, like "out of frequency" or "check video cable". I think that could be the monitor.......but if you have another one try to use it to see what happen

it was the monitor problem. I pluged in my old CRT and voila bios is normal as is everything else.
Damn you LCD monitor..
At least i know its not the gpu or mobo, so i have no worries now.
