This seems very odd, my WD Elements external HDD only seems to be connecting when I seem to just touch the HD with my figures or putting the HD on my lap.
There is no drivers or such for my model on the WD website and still reads the data just fine when it stays connected. If I leave it on say the PC case top then it also works, but putting it on say a desk or the bed or doesnt seem to connect.
Anyone know the cause of this? Seems like some wierd electromagnetic/static thing...
