Please Help... need a motherboard that can run in a NON-ACPI setup (XP Pro)
Needs to be Intel, at least Pentium 4 or newer. Both older Pentium Duals I have cannot install a MPS or Standard PC without hanging up on Blue install screen. I'm thinking the PCIe slots are killing this option??
No bios control with either of these boards.
Does anyone know if PCIe demands ACPI in lieu of the older dumbed down power schemes? I have to throw the switch in a power down for safety issues using this 15 year old custom enclosure.
