lcd and monitor not getting signal from pc

hi, my tv and monitor is not getting a signal from my pc even though all fans, lights are on. this only happened when i was playing wolfenstein new order on ultra. any help on what is happening here. thanks guys

amd fx 3850 with stock fan
radeon hd 7870
psu 630 w
asus m5 a97 mother board
dvd drive
1tb wd blue hard drive
8 gb ram

OIC: the way the question was worded it sounded like it only happens while playing the game and was fine otherwise.First and easiest solution swap out video cable. Next swap out and try a different TV if you have not already. Make sure that your GPU did not wiggle loose from the PCIe slot somehow. Make sure that your DIMMs are seated properly. Unsure that alI cables are plugged in all the way. Get a cheap multimeter and test your PCIe cable. If You have some spare cash you could try buying the same model GPU to put in it and test if it is the problem and return it if not. Other than systematically troubleshooting the hardware in this manner there is not much advice that I can give you.
It sounds like a dead GPU to me though.

hi man, haha im typing on ps3 and it is slow as hell. That advice sounds good. I done everything the way you told me to, but the only thing i didnt do was check the cpu, the stock heatsink gets very hot when the computer is on for 5 mins. I have the cooler master evo 212 on the way and im going to test that out. I will let you know how it gets on. Thanks man

i found a soultion on fixing that blank screen, it was the god dam stock fan heatsink that overheated my cpu and turned off everything. So i changed the heatsink with a bigger one called EVO 212 fan heatsink and rubbed off any thermal compound that was on my cpu and put artic silver on, never put on cheap paste that comes with a new heatsink just spend the coins to get better use. When everything was fitted in and new thermal compound my lcd had text reading out fan error and just restarted and it finally showed my login account. If anyone has the same problem i suggest doing that solution. I want to thank noob222 for giving me advice. Thanks
