I was on 280x from the first but some ppl saying that has heat-noise problems.And i am looking to buy a card for the next 2-3 years

the r9 280x is the best choice. More vram for futureproofing and gaming. the extra vram in future could help it stay playing at ultra-high longer also their just as strong as each other so no need to get a 50 euro more expensive gpu. How much is a r9 290 if its the same price on near the same price as a gtx 770 go for the r9 290 it will provide best performance.

The R9 280X is good as long as it has a good cooler. It would also handle 768p easily for the next 2-3 years, probably even more.

sorry didnt see resoulution when post. Yeah at that resolution 2-3yr is easily achievable. the r9 290 would provide like 4-5yrs but then you might want to upgrade so the r9 280x is best.

Both of those Sapphire cards are good. The Toxic has a better cooler and it's faster, so get that one if the price difference is not huge.

the difference is that the cooler on the toxic is better at overclocking. the dual x is still capable. but if you want to overclock msi,asus also are good and have good coolers

Well Sapphire R9 280X 3GB Toxic costs 240 used(almost new condition) 300 new
and Sapphire DUAL-X R9 280X 3GB GDDR5 OC costs 220 new.

I see much difference on fps (around 18 at metro last light) i think i will go with the toxic model since i am going to use it for long time so i have to overclock it after time
