I have been looking around a lot and cannot seem to find anything that I can use to capture my game from my PC. I have looked at the elgato game capture hd, aver media game broadcaster hd, etc, etc. please help! have I been misinformed on what these can record? From what I am reading its only xbox and ps3. Is there a software that will record in 1080p? can you guys please recommend the best hardware/software that will record in 1080p 60fps if possible. No cost limits, just really want some help.

250 Dollars... of course you can just Pirate the software but I'm telling you try Bandicam, it's free, also try Fraps. If it's already smooth and yes it's 1080P don't worry than why spend 250 dollars?

I came to the rescue then.

PC game capture you said?
Well there's

  • Camtasia Studio
    Fraps
    and Bandicam

I'd personally go for Camtasia Studio,
as it use it myself and it records VERY smoothly and in full 1080p HD video unless your system specs are really old and outdated but that shouldn't be one of your issues I'm guessing.

Just use Fraps or what I use, Bandicam. Small, easy to use and doesn't take nearly as much space a Fraps.

Camtasia has a price tag of course but you can do just pirate it which i wouldn't recommend because of viruses, and yes Camtasia does record in 1080p, Plus you can record your face and voice directly while playing if you wish and edit your videos with the video editor that comes with it (Which beats any video editor out there from price range )
