Cheap Cpu Cooler

Im looking for a cheap cpu cooler. I have about 40 bucks.I was looking at this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103195&cm_re=liquid_cooling-_-35-103-195-_-Product it was on sale for 50 but i dont have enough for that. Any cheaper liquid cooling systems out there?

What are you trying to cool?
I recommend something like the 212 EVO under 40 dollars. AIO coolers like the one you listed are only worth while in their 240mm variants, the 120mm perform worse than most air coolers for a fraction of the price. Even the 240mm models are matched or beat by large heatsinks that run quieter and for less money.

i would get one of those but i have a big fan on the side of my case and i dont want the large fan to get in the way

What case do you have? Though it is a tall cooler, I can cross check the specs to see if it will clear.

It should fit, it will be close though. To be certain, because the case dosent list it, you can measure from the motherboard to the side of the case. You need 6.3" (158mm) clearance.

yeah but like you said it may just fit and the reason why i wanted the liquid cooling is so the case has plenty of room for airflow. And also cosmetic reasons too.

The heatsink wont block flow that much.
As for the looks, I would invest more money then. There is little point in getting a 120mm cooler, aside from a select few like the H80i. That one linked wont cool nearly as well as the EVO, and isnt the highest quality.

i actually want to get a new cpu and gpu first i have a pentium cpu and radeon hd 6670 gpu

Yeah, I would upgrade hardware then worry about cooling. A custom loop is a great option if the case supports it.

yeah this one is nice cause the reservoir slides into the front panel which is nice so you can see the water level and such. But yeah new hardware new desk more monitors then cooling. lol
