So there are many things that go into RAM, latency and speed are most important, if im not wrong? So should i get the Corsair Vengeance pro red 1866 with CL9 or 2400 with CL11? I am confused with which one is better.
Lower timings are better and higher frequencies are better. Timings are responsiveness and frequency is bandwidth.
I've seen this somewhere: 1000 x (cas/clock)
1866 - 1000 x (9/933) = 9.65
2400 - 1000 x (11/1200) = 9.17
Looks like the 2400 is better, but not by a huge amount. This would be about a 1-2 fps gaming difference. Go with the cheaper set.

so whats the point of getting the higher speeds when the CL is higher?
