Hello Tom's Hardware. This is my first post, and I unfortunately have to waste it on trying to resolve an issue with my laptop. First off, my wireless network drivers are updated to the latest version. I am currently using Windows 8.1, which is also updated to the latest version.

Nearly every time, without fail, my laptop will disconnect from the Wi-Fi, and I am unable to connect to any network as it says no networks are available. However, if I go to "Network Connections" in Control Panel, I am able to disable/enable the Wi-Fi and it works from there just fine.

My question is, how do I keep from having to disable/enable the Wi-Fi every time I close my laptop? I haven't tried resetting my PC, as I want to keep my files if possible.

My laptop was purchased in December, and this is exactly it:
