my mobo doenst have a usb 3.0 front panel connector and my new case does. can i just leave the usb 3 cable hanging in my case disconnected until i get an adapter. By the way i have the Asus F2A55-M motherboard if you know maybe there is a usb 3 connector but i dont think so. Thanks ahead!

Yes you can leave it disconnected. Just tie it up out of the way until you get the usb3 to usb2 adapter.
