Hi everyone, my secondary HDD suddenly vanished while downloading today. It does not show up in bios, device manager, or disk manager. In addition, my computer used to boot up in 10 seconds, quite literally, from my SSD. Now they are in the neighborhood of a full minute. This is quite troubling, and yes, I have restarted about 10 times :p This is a new HDD, entire system is about a month old. Didn't hear any clicks pops or screeches from it at all. I set my HDD turn off time to something like 6 trillion minutes of idle time before it turns off. Thank you for helping!

I unplugged it and plugged it back in and it shows up now! But when you cut off the head of a hydra 2 more take its place. The slow boot time still persists, and it says "starting windows" but the logo never pops up. It does eventually boot though.

Ok, have you installed any software recently that starts when window does? To check, hit Windows+R and type in "msconfig" (without quotations) Select the Startup tab. Also, run Command prompt as administrator and run this command "sfc /scannow" (without quotations)

CMD showed no violations and msconfig showed some nvidia stuff along with something called "Hsmgr" "install sheild" "cmicnfg Dynamic link library" "intel usb" and "nvida geforce experiance"
