Do final render times increase when a [ex: 6core 4ghz] CPU is writing to an SSD as compared to a HDD? My current educated guess is that an SSD can write CPU rendered data as fast as it's calculated.... otherwise rendering would be "held back" by the speed of the drive (yes, CPU too, obviously). Should I consider a RAMDisk.iso?
Note: this is in reference to Unreal Dev Kit, where I run lightmass to bake lighting into textures. I'm not doing any video manipulation.. if there is a so to speak difference in calculations/written data.
