System specs:
600w EVGA 600b 80Plus PSU
AMD 6300FX CPU
8GB Corsair Vengeance ddr3 1600MHz Ram
1tb WD HDD
MX518 Mouse with G15 Keyboard
PNY GTX 650
Windows 7 64bit

So I'm currently using a logitech mx518 mouse with my logitech g15 keyboard with LDC screen and i was wondering if the razor naga would be an upgrade. Has 12 buttons on the mouse for mmos and i only play mmos. But is 70 bucks. Worth 70$? My mx518 still works perfect. I though about using the 70 for 8 more gb ram but that seems overkill or upgrading to windows 8 with the money instead. Anyone got any suggestions?

If you don't need all the buttons you could shoot for the razer deathadder which isn't bad (I personally use the corsair vengeance m65 mouse). Both cost around $50 i believe so you could pick between those two.

I'm not a fan of the naga or razer. There lazers aren't the best regardless of what people say. I had a first generation naga and it was terrible. I would personally stick with logitech or another company. If all you play are mmo games then a mmo mouse is great. But I would get a 128gb ssd if your looking for an upgrade.

I would personally wait for Windows 9 since windows 8 doesn't give that much of a performance boost (maybe a couple FPS more, who knows)

I would recommend upgrading your mouse to either a Razer Hex. You probably won't need all the buttons the Naga has, so they'll probably just get in your way. The Hex has 6 larger buttons that are much easier to press. However, if you play heavy games or use heavy software I would recommend a RAM upgrade.

Honestly it's up to the OP at the end of the day. Razer products are really just generic mice with a name, and so is pretty much everything else. It's up to you which you want. I use the Corsair M65 and I think it's a great mouse, and the M95 is the same thing but with buttons and I do really like the button placement.

A ram upgrade would be pointless in gaming and thats all i do. 8gb with a 840 evo ssd vs 12-16 gb with 1tb hdd would be a no brainer. Hdd would be to slow and the ram would not show any speed increase. And i would lose duel channel mode with 12gb. To keep duel channel id need 16gb. So yeah i already bought the 120gb samsung evo ssd. Best choice i could ever made.

For the same price you could have gotten a slightly slower 240GB ssd...

While I know that Samsung by far makes the best SSDs, ADATA and Crucial make 256GB SSDs for about $100 - $120.

Your right samsung does make the best ssds. Thats why i went with samsung. 120gb is acually perfect for me. I only need it for the OS and my one online game. And my antivirus. The rest of my games are on my 1tb wd hdd. And i dont use anyother programs besides ccleaner. Im all set now. Very happy with my evo. It runs faster then the posted read and write specs without rapid enabled. Over 1gb read and write with rapid mode.
