I have a PC with:

EVGA Intel X58 SLI 3 Motherboard
And GeForce 570

My functional moniter detects nothing from my GPU.

My brother has a GF650 and works fine on his pc.

Brought his GPU over to mine and still got no signal.

I tried every PCI-E slot and nothing is working...

Everything else appears to be running fine, fans, lights and all.

I just recently put this together, please help.

When you first turn on the computer do you get any beeping sounds from the internal PC motherboard speaker?

Does the hard drive led activity light turn on or blink like it is being accessed?
If you don't have a front panel with a hard drive activity light then open up your case and listen to the hard drive (magnetic) for motor sounds like...

The video card is powered and I'll double check on the CPU, it should be powered.

If you don't have a front panel with a hard drive activity light then open up your case and listen to the hard drive (magnetic) for motor sounds like it is being accessed. If you have an SSD then you won't hear nothing so this won't help.

Did you try hooking up on the back of the video card, each display connector?
Try testing each connector individually. Power Off, connect the VGA cable to the monitor, Power On.
If nothing shows or no beeps, turn it off and try the DVI-D connection, if same result repeat for HDMI connection and see if any of these show a BIOS post.

If there is still nothing try making sure the memory is properly inserted. I would eject and reinsert each memory module to making sure it is locked in securely.

The only other possibility after that would be to try swapping the CPU with another known working one if possible. If you don't have another CPU the best thing is to release the CPU from the socket and carefully place it back in and lock the clamps again.

Lastly I would try swapping the Power Supply with a good working one from your brother's system just to see if that changes anything.

Also, did you try the GeForce 570 in your brother's motherboard to see if it works?

That's all I can think of at the moment for you try out.

Let me know if any of these steps helped solve your problem.

P.S.
Last resort if you tried everything above.
Turn off the computer, pop the CMOS battery out, unplug the power cord from the back of the power supply.

Hit the Power button on your computer to try to discharge any residual energy.

Wait 10 minutes.

If you have a PCI (legacy) not PCIe graphics card lying around I would put that into the motherboard and take the PCIe graphics card out.

Hook up the VGA connector to the monitor and PCI (legacy) graphics card's VGA connector.

Plug the power cord back to the PSU. Power it on.

If you still don't get any video signal or no beeping noises then your motherboard is probably defective.

Good luck.
