I own an AMD Radeon HD 6570 graphics card on my computer, but for some reason my computer is starting to recognize it as a standard VGA graphics card. I've tried re-installing it several times and it never works. Do I need to buy a new one? Or is there some method of making it recognizable?

Note: I installed an unoriginal Windows 7 OS in order to update it to Windows 8 but it didn't work, so I restored it back to a genuine Windows 7. The graphics card is still recognized as a standard VGA. Could this have been the cause of the problem?

I would appreciate a quick answer, please, I already pre-ordered a new PC game and I wouldn't like to have thrown 90 dollars to the trash.

Anyways, thank you for your time.

Ok, try this. Go to start menu>control panel>system and it should tell you what version of windows you have installed. Then go to start menu>control panel>programs and features and see if there is anything named catalyst control center installed. Let me know.

It's a Windows 7 Professional, 64 bits. And there is no Catalyst Control Center installed.
