2.8Ghz core 2 cual CPU

I'm looking to buy 2 used laptops. I am not a techy person and don't mind older computers just so long as they can run widows 7 and I can search the web without lag. I use computers a lot for those reasons.
I realize there are so many factors involved in this sort of thing, but assuming the computers are in “good” condition with little wear and run well, what would they be worth (a ballpark figure)?
