I cannot get past starting windows through normal boot if I install the driver for my Sapphire Dual-X R9 270 overclocked edition GPU.

Could someone please tell me why this is happening? I can run on safe mode, and if I uninstall the driver in safe mode through control panel I can boot through normal mode.

But then when I install the driver so that I can play video games, the problem that I mentioned above happens.

Would the problem be:

1.) I need to reformat my computer.
2.) Faulty graphics card.
3.) Does it have anything to do with registry?

Please I need help.

are you installing JUST the gpu driver?
try using an older driver, use a driver sweeper before installing.

if you have other pc, try the gpu there (or a friends)

Yes. I'm only installing the driver for my video card. Incase your driver solution doesn't work, what other options do I have?

I've tried:

1.) Clean Boot
2.) System Restore
3.) System Repair

And nothing has worked so far. I probably would just go reformat Windows 7, but I have a feeling that it may not work.
