Hello all,

As a first time hackintosher, I'm having an issue getting started as my system does not boot to post nor does anything display on my monitor. I thought it was an issue with the motherboard, got a replacement and same result. I get no beeps from the mobo either. I found my chip had no internal graphics support (intel 1230v3 xeon), replaced that and still the same result. Tested the psu and nothing is wrong with it, also bought a GPU and nothing out of that either. I'd appreciate any input as I am at a loss at the moment. Parts list is below. Thank you.

Intel Core i7-4790K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor
Gigabyte GA-H97N-WIFI Mini ITX LGA1150 Motherboard
Corsair Vengeance LP 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory x2
Samsung 840 Pro Series 256GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Corsair H60 54.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
EVGA GeForce GT 740 2GB Superclocked Video Card
Silverstone 450W 80+ Bronze Certified SFX Power Supply
Noctua NF-A14 industrialPPC-2000 107.4 CFM 140mm Fan
Silverstone FT03B-MINI (Black) Mini ITX Tower Case

Solution

I think the H97 chipset isn't compatible with Mac OS X. I know somebody who has an H87 board with an i5-4670K on a Gigabyte H87 board and it works just fine.
