Hi

At the moment I have an FX-6300. I am only using the stock fan at the moment so I was looking around and saw that some of the Corsair liquid coolers aren't too much more expensive. Should I get a H-55 or something similar now or wait until I get a better CPU such as an FX-8320 or FX-8350. I am planing on maybe doing some overclocking.

Thanks

I think you definitely have no need of getting a new CPU.
The FX-6300 x6 cores is enough for now, it overclocks really easily, but you will have to get one of the coolers what guys already mentioned above.
Those are all really good recommendations and don't go for the liquid cooling (Especially not that one)
With the stock cooler you can OC the CPU up to 4GHz if I am right (based on what other people told me). With a better cooler, it goes up to 5GHz.

As well as Alpha3031 said, post your whole build.
Two recommendations for you: -

1. If you are not AMD loyal customer and not on a low budget then consider Intel for your next upgrade.

2. Better consider Corsair H80i/Noctua NH-U14/12S, NH-D14 as cooling solution.

First decide your upgrade then decide upon the cooler.
