Hey Toms!

So yeah I have just flashed a Asrock B85M Pro4 to the newest version so it can support haswell refresh. BIOS works fine, no problem at all. When I then move on to try to boot onto my USB stick, I loose power to both keyboard and I also assume my mouse (no indication light or anything). It happens when it passes the "loading windows files" and actually gets the Windows logo onscreen.

Tried default settings.. Nope
Tried playing enabling Legecy USB support (default)
Tried playing disabling Legecy USB support

Even tried having USB as first boot device so I didnt force into it..

Gah.. any ideas? This seems to be a problem that many have encountered but yeah.

Hi

Was this all working before the bios update?

Are keyboard &. Mouse on USB 3.0 ports which are affected when USB 3 drivers loaded by windows .

I'm actually not sure whether or not it worked. We booted with a G1820 because it didnt support the 4690 before flash. But no, same problem with USB 3.0 as other ports > If works in BIOS but it disables during the W7 load.

Hi

Is there a ps/2 keyboard port?
Spec says yes

If a ps/2 port keyboard will allow windows login
Check motherboard chipset and USB 3 drivers are installed

I don't have a PS/2 keyboard or anything like that.. It's a solution but I'd rather get to the bottom of whats up :S.
