Put Alienware,Dell xps & Hp envy a side & compare normal branded pcs with custom p /Non branded pcs well for all I know is the biggest draw backs of a branded computer is that you cannot overclock it , change it's casing or it's motherboard , it comes with useless bloatware software which you don't really need & the advantages I know of a branded pc is that it's casing be stronger compared to a custom pc & a branded computer is a bit faster than a custom / non branded pc due to it uses the hardware of the same brand (OEM) but the gamers I personally know prefer custom pcs cause you can built them however you like

If you're buying a new PC, i suggest get a custom PC. Unless you care about warranty and don't have time for researching a good PC specs

Youtube is blocked in my country so I'll have to use hotspot shield vpn to access it & warranty doesn't matter to me as I buy second hand parts too if they're in good condition , I got a custom pc, My first custom pc was a core2duo & I haven't regerted getting a custom pc due to more upgradeability options & never looked back , My last branded pc was a pentium 4 , The reason I am asking is to increase my knowledge

Where do you live? If you're buying 2nd hand parts, you'll end up with a custom pc. Because some people upgrade their pc. As you said, the most popular arguments about custom pc are upgradeability.
Pakistan , I personally prefer evga mobos but they're rare to find in my country if I happen to get one someway & it has any problem with it I wouldn't be able to get it fixed by EVGA team cause there are no outlets for them here & my country doesn't allow to send electronic parts by post so it's either Asus or Gigabyte to go with , for psu I prefer Corsair , for sound card Creative xfi , for hdd wd black or velo , for ram G.skill or corsair , for dvd rom samsung , for aftermarket hsf cooler master & for Gpu I prefer Nvidia by Asus

Why not just get an ECS motherboar?
They're not very good but it's cheap, so if you have any problems with it, you can just buy a new one.
Anyway, here's a cheap but decent specs with a gigabyte motherboard
