Ram problem please help

Hi guys my motherboard is ms 7592 and on the internet i saw that it supports 800/1066/1333mhz now i got 4gb of ram ddr3 but it is 1600mhz so i tried to put it in but when i turned on my pc it said no video input.Later I pulled out my old ram and on it is written 1600 but it doesnt says mhz.Please does anyone know how i can at least get my new ram to work??

Well for starters.
If you had memory sticks in the system prior to the new ones.
Reset the bios back to factory defaults.

Don`t forget the board auto detects the speed of memory modules ans stores the settings.
So if the values of the old sticks are different then they are still the retained settings.

Settings that may result in a new set not working prior to existing stored settings.

Rule 01 reset the bios to factory defaults.
The board needs to work out what its dealing with.
Once done look in the bios for Xmp mode option and enable it save and exit bios.
