Hello all,

I recently setup my SLI GTX780TI (EVGA SC ACX 3GBx2) and also a AsusPB287Q monitor.
I used to have HP Pavilion 22xi and running Windows 8.1.

I tried to plug displayport to Asus monitor and then HDMI to HP monitor on the main SLI card when SLI enabled, only one of it would work. When I change HDMI to DVI both would work and that's what I am using at the moment, I tried win7/8.1, same result.

My question is:
Is there anyway that I can use HDMI+Displayport at the same time?

Solution
I got it solved.

After a lot of research and customer service from nVidia and EVGA, I pretty much got no result on this issue but knowing at least this is could be done.

I reconnect all my connection and made sure all the ports were functioning properly. And it magically worked. Therefore, I tried a few approach to figure out what the real problem is.

The order I connect ports matters in this case. I can't be sure if its a monitor particular problem. However, whoever in the future if runs into this problem can try the following.

1. Disable SLI
2. Disconnect all monitors.
3. plug in your HDMI to desired monitor.
4. Boot up and shot down.
5. Plug in your Display Port to desired monitor
6. Boot up, you should see only one monitor...

6. Boot up, you should see only one monitor working when booting up until you reach desktop or log in page.
7. Windows key + P to set screen as Extended.
8. At this point both monitors should work, then just go to configure resolution and position etc... and Enable SLI

Note: Though this works, I got a new problem that, during boot up, there's no screen showing, I can enter bios but can't see anything. I press F10 to save and exit, so I know that I am in bios, it's just screen for some reason doesn't work until log in page
