So I was looking back on my old HDD which has family photos and such. I am using windows 7 and plugged the old drive in. Accounts on that drive that were not administrators are unblocked, I can view the photos and folders, but the administrator accounts are blocked. I changed the owner of the folders and I can get in, but its a hassle and even then I cannot open the photos.
So 1) Can I unblock all the folders on the drive/make me the owner of them all?
2) how can I access files that have a different owner?
I have tried going into the security tab and changing it, but that only seems to work for folders.
