Any ram wont work

I have a problem with upgrading new ram i've tried all avalilable brands of ram with old and without it but it doesnt work even with same cls frequency etc... even where did i buyed it they cant make it. Soo i wanna your opinion specs of my pc
3 years old
Cpu 3.2 ghz e5800
Gpu nvidia geforce gt 520
Motherboard asus p5g41-m lx2/gb (this MOTHERBOARD IS EVIL!!!)
Ram my trascend 2gb 1333 mhz cls9

No really though, in what way does it not work? What ram have you tried? Just saying "it doesn't work" isn't gonna get you very far.

Kingston,trascend,patriot,crosair(umn wrong spelling?) It goes on fans etc but it shows black screen with new one . It worked with kingston 2 gb dimm ,but doesnt show 3.5 gb jst shows "2.00gb"
