Hey guys, I got a new monitor about 2 days ago and I noticed it has audio in, as well as a jack for headphones. Is it better to hook my headphones up to the monitor or keep them plugged into my motherboard? My motherboard is the ASUS M5A97 R2.0 and my monitor is the ASUS VS228H-P. Please help, thank you! :)

I'd suggest plugging it into your motherboard as normal Asus comes with inbuilt high quality audio software and hardware which in some cases, the screen does not offer this high quality audio, so go for the motherboard.

PS: I too own a ASUS motherboard and it delivers beautiful sound compared to my Asus monitor.
