This problem just wont go away, i solved this 2 times but it appered again.
In the middle of a game the image on my screen freezes and the sound continues. And i cant Alt+Tab or do any other commands so i need to restart the pc.
Some of the games are running in on an external hd (VERBATIM HD) connected to an USB port, and some are running on my ssd.

Pc specs:
Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit Installed in a SSD
8 GB Ram
Intel Core i3-3240
Nvidia GeForce GT 640 with 2 gb

Where are you getting drivers for your GPU (i.e. disc that came with the card, manufacturers website, nvidias website). Also, how did you solve the problem the first two times?

Do you get freeze from games on your SSD and on your external HDD?

Do Checkdisks. Do Virus Scans

What power supply make and model?

What cpu temps - from bios/uefi - for idle and gaming?

No matter what the problem, get a better power supply - http://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=20168

Do Checkdisks. Do Virus Scans

Download HWInfo and run Sensors. Post the results - usually 3 screenshots in Tiny Pic or similar. This'll show how your PC is behaving.

I´ve done a virus scan and it located 3, they are now removed.
This is the HWInfo http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=10z4x3p&s=8#.U9mog_mOLm...

Check your voltages in bios/uefi

HWInfo say 12v - 8.295, 3.3V - 3.3661, 5V - 3.396 - all wrong.

If they are still the same in bios/uefi, then replace your power supply

Then what power supply should i buy?
Also one that isnt so expensive.

Check event viewer and see if anything interesting shows up right after this freezing occurs... look in Windows Logs > Application & Windows Logs > System
