Framerate Watch Dogs

Hello

I recently got a new R9 290 from MSI and have been happy with it overall. but when i play Watch Dogs, my framerate always stays between 25-40 fps. for a card that high end I expected about 55-65 fps actually. Is there something wrong with my gpu ? My textures are set to high and all the other settings to ultra.
I hope someone can give an explanation for this and maybe a way to fix this.

Well Watch dogs is horribly optimized! If u think something is wrong with your GPU try to play other game put all settings to ultra and check your temperature.OH any maybe its not about your GPU..Check if u have minimal requirements

Well for one thing Watch Dogs isn't a very well optimized PC port in general. Even with very good parts your still barely going to hit 60 fps. That being said what's your CPU and how much RAM do you have? Those could both be part of the problem.

My CPU is a 4690K wich I haven't overclocked yet, and I also have 8GB of vengeance pro 1600Mhz ram.

It usually goes from 70 - 80 degrees with a custom fan profile. Is that much ?
