OK, couple of weeks ago I purchased a MBP 15" with upgraded processor to 2.6Ghz. I am still waiting for it's delivery but found out they just upgraded this computer to a 2.8Ghz processor, all other features remain the same. So question is, do I go through the hassle of sending this back when it arrives, and reorder to get the newer 2.8Ghz processor(price is about the same) and wait another 3/4 weeks before I get it, or just settle and keep this one, when it arrives within next couple days. Is it worth the hassle? What would you do?

First off, dont make up your own acronyms, if it is not a industry standard dont use it. Its hard to get help if no one knows what you are asking about. Most likley why no one has responded to this yet.

I am assuming you mean a macbook pro. So the question comes down to what do you use the computer for. Are you doing heavy rendering and pushing the computer to the max, if so then yes you will see a difference out of 2.8 ghz. Anything less then that the answer is no you wont notice the difference.

It's an acronym listed in Wikipedia, so hardly made up by the OP.

Ijack is right, MBP is not a acronym made up by the OP. Just reading the post (before scrolling down to read the responses) I knew right away the OP was referring to a MacBook Pro. There is a similar question here - http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-2239902/worth.ht... though not exactly the same. I really don't think you will see much of a difference between the two unless other components have changed as well.
