The game doesn't let me select ultra settings outright but here are my specs:

Specs:

Windows 7 64 bit home premium
Ram: 16 GB
CPU: Intel Core i7 3770 @ 3.4 Ghz driver are from 2006
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 7700 2.1 GB have the latest 14.4 catalyst drivers

If my gpu isn't up to par is there a way to overclock it to run it on ultra settings smoothly or have my CPU pick up the slack?

Is there a way to figure that out with out opening my comp lol? I have a dell xps IDK if that helps or not.

Is the the Asus GTX 780 ti the way to go? Ive hade problems with Radeon before and I dont think ill be going back to them again. But is the only thing I need to worry about upgrading is my GPU? So my CPU and ram are fine?

And is there away to figure out how to run this game optimally with my current build?

Best bang for buck.. go for the Asus GeForce 970 GTX. 4gb GDDR5.. can't go wrong and overclocks pretty well. Typically, AMD Radeon's draw more current than GeForce. So, let's say you have a 600 watt PSU and you currently have Radeon, you shouldn't have to worry about upgrading the PSU. If you go for a newer Radeon, you will want to get at least an 800watt because they run hot and high voltages. you'll need more ventilation in your case to air out the heat. the GF 970 GTX will run Wolfenstein on ULTRA all very well. 8gb of ram should be plenty but the focus factor is, the graphics card and having a minimum of 4gb GDDR5 to run on ULTRA.
