Realtek RTL8029(AS)-based Ethernet Adapter driver Problem

When i change my old ethernet controller to Realtek RTL8029(AS).To run properly it needs driver but i cant find it. I tried search some example (http://www.driverscape.com/download/realtek-rtl8029(as)-based-ethernet-adapter-(generic) and at other sites but driver wont work.This is how i try install them-(Device manager update driver,I show the way on desktop where my driver are placed-press on next) and then appears this- Windows encountered a problem installing the driver software to your device , Windows found driver software for your device but encountered an error while attempting to install it. Parallels Ethernet Adapter. Maybe i am downloading wrong drivers. Please give me some links where i can download right driver. OS windows 7 64 bit or help me fix this .

Realtek only has support for that NIC up to windows XP. There are no windows 7 drivers on their website. The most current driver can be found at the following link. If you scroll down half the page you'll find your device. That must be a fairly old system you're working on and if you can post the motherboard model number I might be able to find a newer driver based on that, but it's improbable.

Your two best options may be to try running the xp drivers, which I believe you probably have and it didn't work, or to just go buy a USB or PCIe Ethernet adapter and use that.
