Hi guys I was looking for help on choosing a laptop I'm a dedicated gamer but don't have a fortune to spend and have been looking at a range of laptops.

I've been interested in pc specialist and Gigabyte laptops as they seem extremely good value.

I've seen a pc specialist laptop with these specs for £690 and wondered if it seemed good value?

The GPU is the weakest component in that system - a mobile 850 would only allow you to play most new AAA games at often the lowest settings at 1080p, and that is when the charger is connected. If your primary reason for getting a new system is gaming, then you must seriously consider getting a desktop system, which is a much more viable gaming solution than a laptop. Spending money on a mobile gaming platform only makes sense when you already have a fully upgraded desktop system.
