Need help choosing a CPU.

I have come down to two processors that are close in price and clock speed but one is an Intel cpu and the other is an AMD cpu. I would like to hear others opinion on which is better.

AMD CPU: AMD FX-8320 Vishera 8-Core 3.5GHz

Intel CPU: Intel Core i5-4460 Haswell Quad-Core 3.2GHz

Depends on what motherboard you are pairing them with.
If you got a good 970 motherboard or a a 990FX for the FX 8320 with an aftermarket cooler, you can overclock the cpu to surpass the i5 4460 in gaming. Some games the i5 4460 may be ahead but small difference.
For the i5 4460, most of the motherboards released are good enough.

If rendering than FX 8320 is a better route for that need.
