Either you got a good amount of virus or your RAM is out of order. Get your PC thoroughly scanned by a good antivirus and then run MemTest 86 to check for RAM problems, if any. If RAM does have issues, you may need to get it cleaned or even replaced. That's your best bet.

Hi john2127,
I used to have the same problem until I discovered it was being caused by an outdated graphics card driver. When I downloaded and installed the latest version of card driver I haven't had a crash or Blue Screen Of Death since. Obtain and install a newer version of your Graphics card driver and hopefully it will fix your problem... best of luck!

It could be an OS problem, or even a driver problem. Most likely a driver problem though...

Norton is good, Mcafee is better!

If you don't wanna do memtest, Windows also has a built in software.

Yes Norton, Avast, Kaspersky, Mcafee are all good ones. And you must update your drivers! They are probably the root for this issue. But for safe guard, its good to have RAM tested using MemTest 86.
