??????????????? Sorry but do you have any idea about computers? This is a 4930K a CPU for the 2011 socket mobos and it supports quad channel natively.

To the question, you can try another set of same to increase DRAM and utilize quad channel - but there's no guarantee the sets will play nice, any time youu mix sets even of the same exact model it can be and often is problematic....DRAM is sold in a variety of sets so you can get what you need and have a package that has all sticks tested to play nice as well as have XMP programmed into the sticks for the number of sticks in a package...so yes, can try but best would be to buy a single package of the full amount you want.

Sorry about the confusion, AMD doesn't support quad-channel in most of their CPU's so I imagined that Intel would be mostly the same.... We learn something new every day....

Thank god you set him straight. If you didnt i would have. If you are paying ~$600 for a CPU it better damn support quad channel.
