Hi all,

I've recently gone out and bought a load of new components as some were out-dated and I was worried of bottlenecking my GPUs if I SLI'd them down the road (and not being able to take full advantage of an SSD).

So this is what I've got now with the new and the old:

- Asus z-97 Pro + i5 4690k

- Noctua NH-D14 CPU Cooler

- GTX 770 3GB Palit Jetstream

- 8GB G-Skill Ripjaw Ram

- Creative Fatal1ty Champion Sound Card

- 1 TB HDD

- 256GB SSD MTX1000 Corsair

- Windows 8.1 Operating System

- Haf Coolmaster 922

- Rear, Top, Front and Side Fan

- Thermal Paste Noctua NT-H1

- Corsair TX850 PSU

but I'm worried it won't fit into my case, the HAF Coolmaster 922.

Will it fit and is it all compatible?

Considering I've got Windows 7 on my old HDD, I want to install Windows 8 onto the SSD - once i've installed all the hardware - how do I go about setting up the SSD?

Any good guides on installing into the Haf 922?

Thanks all, I appreciate the feedback!

PS: I'm still running on my ASUS P6X58D-E with Intel i5-950 CPU with ECO Coolit A.L.C CPU cooling system. That's what I'm replacing, and adding in an SSD.

Your parts will fit into that case just fine. Here is a great build video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=erUCNV2KGPU&list=UUmWNCO9wSjzOz1UV8jCvIHA Its not the same case, but building is pretty much the same in ATX style cases. Also, that Corsair SSD will have software with it that should help you set up your SSD. If not that guy in that video has another video on setting up an SSD. Great parts btw and good luck.

Just another quick question to wrap this up:

- As all my hardware is mostly just an upgrade of components already installed I'd assume the cables from my PSU will be the same as before. The only additional piece of hardware I'm adding is the MTX1000 SSD. I don't think I have the extra cables for the TX850 anymore, and not sure if it is installed in the case at the mo. Could please advise, or do the cables come with the SSD?

Baring in mind I've got a 1 TB HDD as well.

Thanks!
