I have set up a computer on PCPartpicker and am looking to get it. First though, I would like some people's input.

I already have a Hard Drive, the SSD is just for the OS, I also have the OS. The Power Supply in the case is a 500 watt, so I figured it would cover my needs.

what case and what make is the power supply? Just yesterday I was reading a review of some OEM (no-name brand) power supply rated at 500W that burned out at 275W during testing.

Please let us know what is your intended use for this PC. And yes, I will never used a bundled PSU for any build, even if it is from CM :)

It is a Cooler Master case, not sure about the make of the power supply, If need be I will get a better Power Supply, can a burnt out Power Supply damage any of the other components in the computer?

My needs are gaming and also for schoolwork, the games I will most likely be playing are Minecraft, Kerbal Space Program, Space Engineers, and similar titles. I don't plan on playing Watch Dogs, but would it run well on this?

There are a few reviews on Newegg that says the PSU is pretty good. I'd still not trust it until I can see it, figure out who made it and whether the connectors correspond with a good-quality PSU of that rated power.

Would this power supply be a good choice?

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

It says "4th gen Intel CPU Ready" would it still work with the fx 6350?

Yes, that's a really nice PSU. in tier 3 of the PSU list: http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-1804779/power-su...

Tier three - Meets standard ATX specifications, though closer to the edges than Tier two units. These are still solid units, which still supply stable power to your system, though not ideal for serious overclocking

Don't worry about the Haswell certification. It just says that it can go into an ultra-low power standby and wake up with a processor interrupt from the new low-power Haswell processors. It will work just fine with AMD processors.
