Black screen after clicking install

so i downloaded Ubuntu i booted the usb i get this screen saying stuff one of them is "Install Ubuntu" i clicked on install Ubuntu i hear a sound but i get a black screen what is the problem
my gpu is
Gigabyte GTX 750 Ti

Google "ubuntu install black screen" and you will find several hits with suggestions on how to get round this. You'll find life a lot easier if you do a little research.

Not ALL Ubuntu releases support ALL graphics cards on ALL motherboards (other config variables may apply). If you have an old NV9600 or NV9800 pop that in the graphics slot and see what happens.

there was a UFIE <usb name> and there was <usb name> without the UFIE i booted into the one with the name only
