New Card = Image Distortion

I just got a eVGA GTX 750. My old card was an eVGA 8800GT. My old card was set up with DVI to HDMI and to my 37" TV. When I installed the new card, the only thing I changed was removing the DVI to HDMI connector and plugging the HDMI right into the computer. I restart and the image is very distorted and "grainy". So next I replace the DVI to HDMI converter and same results, only when I use my DVI to VGA does the image improve and return to its original quality. I have installed and re-installed the drivers for this card. VGA works but I want to go to a triple monitor setup some time soon.

Displayport can be easily converted to all the other cable specifications including HDMI with cheap adapters, or even HDMI to displayport cables which are relatively cheap (around $10 probably, I got a DVI to DSP for around $8).

HDMI shouldn't lose its signal over distance because it's digital. Maybe it's just a faulty port? If the 750 has a displayport use that. displayport is just the best by far.

I thought they were pretty cheap, around $7 or somethin like that. They shouldn't be too expensive or you're getting ripped off.
