Hi all,
I was going to go with two sticks of 4gb for a total of 8gb. I heard this was better than 4 sticks of 2gb. So then i was deciding between these two:
Opt1 = 8-10-10-27 | 1.65v | $145 | Corsair Vengeance Pro
Opt2 = 9-10-10-28 | 1.60v | $95 | Mushkin Redline
Opt3 = 9-11-10-28 | 1.65v | $90 | GSkill RipJaws X

So is the cas 8 and 4th being 27 much better? Does 9-10-10-28 vs 9-11-10-28 make a noticeabl difference?

Solution
There's a variety of RJ X sets both the RJ X F3-17000CL9D-8GBXM and the SNipers F3-17000CL9D-8GBSR , come at 9-11-10-28, 1.65, of the two the Snipers tend to have a hair more OC headroom

It also depends what frequency the RAM is running at. You probably won't notice the difference between cas 8 and 9 at the same frequency. The Vengeance Pro is more expensive because it is made to be overclocked like the G.Skill Trident series. I would get the G.Skill RipJaws.

I'm having a AsRock Extreme6+ FM2A88X with AMD 7850K

my use is for vmware of 3 os'es (mac, linux, one other) and win 8.1 install. I also watch lots of streaming sports and make video clips. Lots of video clips of programming for tutorials.

So Im looking at 2133mhz as thats max supported by 7850k
