Sorry if i am posting in the wrong forum.
I have a pc that is a few years old now. I feel it no longer lives up to my expectations, which rise at a steady pace. When i bought the PC it was all about gaming. But now i am branching off into all kinds of ... stuff. 3D modeling (very simple, to an extent), programming (alot), processor heavy tasks such as lightmapping and compiling can be required when making games.
I mainly play games such as WoW, DotA, LoL etc. but every now and again i want to play other games like assassins creed or CoD.
I don't expect it to run any game on ultra or instantly process anything. I just want to be able to do most things allright.
My first thought was to buy a pc from a retailer, but then i remembered that i could actually build a custom PC at a LOWER (!?) price. This was the first time i looked into hardware (i hardly knew what the CPU did before).

So after some reading up on hardware i came up with this.
My current setup is this
Intel® Core™ i3-550 Processor (4M Cache, 3.2 GHz)
Intel® H57 Express Chipset
2GB (1X2GB) DDR3 Memory
500GB SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive
NVIDIA GeForce GT 320
Running 2 monitors, one being 1920*1080 and the other 1024 * 768
Is it a big upgrade, are there any parts that shouldn't be swapped? Thank you!
